MCP connector for Claude

USA Public Data

Official US statistics (BLS, BEA, FHFA, Census), the Data.gov catalog with CSV/JSON previews, and federal procurement: contract awards and spending from USAspending.gov, open funding opportunities from Grants.gov and, with a free key, contract solicitations from SAM.gov.

Add it to Claude

1. Create an account and add credits at https://openjack.dev; copy your connection key.
2. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste https://usa-public-data.openjack.dev/mcp.
3. Click Connect. You will be asked for the connection key and your US government open data credentials.

How your data is handled

Your US government open data credentials are validated once, then stored encrypted with a key that only the token issued to your Claude account can unwrap. Disconnecting the connector in Claude revokes that token. The connector keeps no logs and no cache, and stores none of the data it passes to Claude. Every tool is read-only.
